QD announces its US office opening in Phoenix, Arizona
Munich, Germany – April 4, 2025 – QuantumDiamonds (QD) is excited to announce the official opening of its new U.S. office in Phoenix, Arizona.
The expansion marks a significant milestone in QD's global strategy, positioning the company at the heart of the U.S. semiconductor ecosystem, which is seeing substantial growth.
QD is joining the Arizona International Soft Landing Experience (AISLE) program, a collaboration between Arizona State University (ASU) and the Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC), designed to accelerate the U.S. growth of international high-tech firms. This strategic move will enhance QD's ability to support its growing U.S. customer base in the advanced packaging and next-gen chips market.
"We are thrilled to officially establish our presence in Phoenix, a region quickly becoming a key global hub for next-generation chip manufacturing," said Kevin Berghoff, CEO of QD.

QD's quantum sensing technology enables precise 3D fault defect detection of the current flow, which is critical for improving yield in modern chip designs. The Phoenix office will serve as a vital operational base to deepen industry connections and accelerate the adoption of QD's pioneering solutions in the U.S. market.
Many thanks to the team at Arizona State University for their incredible support and partnership, especially Prof. Umberto Celano and Sanchari Sen.
First deliveries to customers in Taiwan, and US are scheduled for Q1 2026.
